The National PTA® is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in America. For 125 years, PTA has worked with school communities and decision makers to solve the toughest problems in our nation’s history. The Oak Grove Elementary School PTA is a community of parents and staff that was established to support the students, teachers and staff of OGES.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Oak Grove Elementary School PTA is to strengthen the partnership between families, educators, and the community to ensure every child thrives. We are dedicated to promoting the welfare of children and youth at home, school, and in the community; supporting strong family life; advocating for the safety and well-being of all children; and fostering collaboration between parents, teachers and the public. Through advocacy, education, and united efforts, we strive to provide every child with the highest opportunities for academic, social and emotional growth.
Our Goals:
Improve communication between the school, PTA, and families
Engage and advocate for each student and family
Support our teachers in pursuit of educational success
Create a supportive and enriching community for all students, staff and families
