Susana was born in Washington state, U.S., to immigrant parents. She considers herself a "Washingtonian" and an American. Sometime before attending high school, she met and became best friends with The Drungalwort, although neither of them can recall how they met. Not much else is known about Susana's early life; however, she has documented anger issues and blames her intersex condition on her parents' unconventional gender norms. Her relationship with her parents is likely strained at best. She is sometimes rumored to have an elder sister, but they are not close. 

Eventually, Susana enrolls in Human Preparatory Academy and is elected as part of the student council, the United Student Body (USB), for an unknown position. She spends the majority of her time programming to limited success. Her most notable accomplishment is developing the spoof game, Yandelere Simulator. She is notorious for not being able to keep a job due to her hot-tempered and disobedient personality.

Susana is rude, abrasive, eccentric, self-entitled, headstrong and brash.

• Susana was originally an attempt to visualize Hypr-chan after seeing glimpse of her on the monitor but unable to pause to get a clear picture. In this way, Susana is intrinsically intertwined with Hypr-chan. 

• She was designed with the specific intent of being a simple, basic and generic anime school girl to poke fun at gooners, specifically those who are programmers . 

• Susana's design was inspired by the Chinese vocal synth, 苍穹.

• Susana is the sole in-universe developer for Yandelere Simulator.

• Despite almost exclusively being referred to as female, Susana is technically intersex, but she will never admit that.

• Susana can understand both English and Chinese, but it is unknown which language she learned first as she will interpret all language-related questions as being in reference to programming languages.

• Susana is implied to have a more accomplished and proficient elder sister who is a hikikomori. 

• Susana has been exhibited to have a crush on Hypr-chan, the mascot for the Hyprland desktop environment. 

• Despite being lesbian, Susana is openly homophobic and proud of it. She may also be misogynistic. 

• Susana was originally designed to be a secret final boss for Yandelere Simulator, but the game's development never progressed to the point for her to be actually implemented in the game's files. However, beta move-sets and sprites still exist.

• Susana's favorite animal is a penguin in reference to Tux, the mascot for Linux.

• Susana's favorite My Little Pony character is implied to be Fluttershy due to the reoccurring appearance of a Fluttershy plushie. 

• The appearance of a strange frog toy in the photo "Susana's Room" implies that Susana might be the "someone in your old hometown" mentioned in the Frog item description in Yandelere Simulator. This might be how Susana and The Drungalwort were already friends prior to attending the same school.

• Susana's favorite show is 巴啦啦小仙女们 in which her favorite character is 贝贝, with whom she shares a resemblance in appearance.

• She is known to play Honkai Impact: 3rd as a Shigure Kira main.

• Susana wears a tie instead of the standard bow.

• She wears a top hat as a further reference to Tux, in which the name is taken from the word tuxedo.

• Susana's outfit features a pin with the Wayland logo, a Godot sticker on her top hat, and the colors and icon of Hyprland throughout her design. She also has all of these symbols on her backpack.

• Susana's backpack also has a patch of the Sussy Wussy Ducky.

• Susana is a fan of Hatsune Miku, as shown by her having a Miku figure in her room (alongside a figure of herself).

• Susana's room is strewn with decorative memorabilia and posters of herself, showing her vainess. However, she also has plenty of dedicated decor related to her friends.

• Although the style is often considered "cringe" and "generic" Susana's striped socks are actually an integral part of her design as they aren't just an artistic choice to fill up space, but programming socks.

• Susana is autistic and likely has an obsessive compulsive disorder.

• Susana bears an uncanny resemblance to 11-Tan, which, surprisingly, is a complete coincidence. Great minds think alike? (but fools rarely differ...)

• Furthermore, Susana is likely friends or at least acquaintances with 11-Tan, Madobe Nanami, Madobe Yuu and Madobe Ai, Madobe Toko, and other OS-Tans.

• Her birthday, September 13, is international Programmers Day.
