"Style never goes out of style" - Diszco
DIS[z]aster ReCOvery, most commonly known as "Diszco" or "Dizco" is an artificial being given not only the power of, but authority to enact as a creator god in the event of human extinction. Her purpose is to preserve all that is "beautiful" from Earth, but her creators made the fatal flaw of letting her decide what is worth keeping. Technically not ascending to godhood until after considerable destruction of the Earth, she bides her time being a universally renowned pop icon.

Overview
Coming from humanist Y2K/aero frutiger ideals and influenced by then-modern pop culture such as WALL-E, several private companies funded and established the Disaster Recovery Project, a safeguard meant not to prevent disaster, but to preserve some aspects of Earth in the event of disaster. This resulted in an artificial life form with restoration and preservation capabilities, named after the project that had created her. Seeing how there was no way to know exactly when or why Earth would be in peril, nor could they prepare for every possible situation, they decided to give Diszco critical thinking skills to access the situation and devise the best steps and solution considering the circumstances . However, this had a rather curious side effect, likely a flaw in the programming: a personality.
Designating the entire legacy and future of the planet and all its inhabitants on a biased inhuman organism with the man-given right to become a god was probably not the best idea. You see, in spite of her personality, Dizsco is surprisingly loyal to her responsibility and fully intends to see it out as in accordance with the law. But because of her personality, her subjugation to the law is via exploiting loopholes. As part of her free will and an inability for worldwide nations to come to an agreement, it is up to Diszco to decide for herself what she considers worth saving, and while there is still time, she is not leaning in humanity's favor.
Another way she regulates her power is being patient. Technically she doesn't come into her full power until after a world-destroying event in which she could easily cause. Instead she recognizes her immunity to mortality and the inevitable erosion of all things in existence, claiming that one day, whether tomorrow or in a few billion years, the dawn of extinction will never fail to rise. She is in no hurry to assume anything, nor participate in any matters of the world before her time. Dizsco takes her philosophy to an extreme, claiming that she has no business interfering with the natural order of events prior to awakening, stating that as her purpose only comes into effect after a disaster has already happened, she has no right to either speed up or prevent destruction. This is rather annoying to a certain space cadet, who is forced to take on the task of saving the world due to Dizsco's refusal to directly interfere. She spends the centuries waiting for her accession by working as an idol diva.
She is in fact rather open and in no way shy to describe her considerable disdain for humanity and Earth, but this is ignored as it is mistakenly seen as a part of her idol persona, actually being one of the main drivers behind her popularity. The companies behind her creation see no need to disable the Disaster Recovery Project as they fail to consider her claims as honest, or the project as unsuccessful.
Maybe a certain assistant will help her realize the beauty in life and small things, and a rather bad pilot will fight to prove creation's right to existence.....
Diszco is laid-back and languid with an air of egotistical superiority. She maintains a concept of moral righteousness but never considers it her personal duty to enforce it. Cunning, intelligent, and mischievous, she is surprisingly not just honest but brutally so. She is never afraid to speak her mind or say controversial things, but believes that even the most heated of discussions have no need to be done loudly. Not that it matters much, as she doesn't have a particularly notable history of arguments, or if she does, they are entirely one-sided. Preferring to laugh at things, she lives lazily and carefree. Her speech patterns tend to imply a seductive or overly affectionate tone such as by referring to people as darling, but an active listener would easily pick up on the blatant apathy or mocking manner Dizsco displays. She has no aversion to sarcasm, insults, or teasing, and uses them frequently in conversation.
Diszco's name comes from the project that resulted in her creation: the Disaster Recovery Project. "Dis" is taken from "Disaster" and "co" from "Recovery" a "Z" is added for aesthetic purposes, Originally, the "z" was meant to take the place of the "s" but they are both included in the final spelling.
Diszco appears as a mentor to the protagonist, and also the catalyst for why they specifically have to save the world in the first place, in an unnamed concept. Upon crash landing, Diszco offers to pay the protagonist's property damage bills and resolve any other legal issues. She ends up recruiting the protagonist on the basis that she cannot directly interfere herself and "if anyone's gonna save the world, it has to be a failure. A perfectionist would never finish the job."
Space Cadet
10/10
Apprentice
Dizsco finds the ditsy and chaotic nature of the Space Cadet to be humorous and takes them on as an apprentice, albiet in part just to combat boredom.
HMX-MiyAI
10/10
"Partners in Crime"
HMX-MiyAI is perhaps the closest person to Dizsco, and she was the first person to recognize and respect MiyAi's existence.
Embryonic Entity

Pet Companion
A peculiar life form that Dizsco claims to be a "glimpse of the future yet to come"

Acquaintance
Typically autistic people tend to get along better with other autistic people, but these two just rub eacother the wrong way.
Her design is supposed to be representative of some sort of millipede, likely a type of fire millipede although she is not based on any specific real-world species
Her design is inspired by Ulala, MEIKO, and Agent 8, and her goddess design is said is similar to Herrscher of the Void Magic Girl ☆ Sirin and Senadina as Cocoon of Unwoven
She is very similar to Vita, and her relationship with MiyAI is based off of Vita and Sparkle
She is also similar plot-wise to Commander Tartar, whose purpose was to pass on humanity's knowledge to the next dominant species. Upon meeting the new sentient beings, he is disgusted by them and blends the most capable of them to create a sludge of DNA in which he believes a worthy lifeform will emerge. They differ in the sense that the Inklings' and Octolings' obsession with trivial matters such as fashion is the reason they supposedly aren't worthy, while Dizsco believes that art, specifically music and dance, are humanity's only redeeming quality
As her name implies, Diszco likes disco and is frequently shown with an 80's retro or vaporwave/synthwave aesthetic
Her character was initially envisioned as a professional sharpshooter. While this may have not made the final cut, some elements are retained in her design such as a gun holster and military equipment, her choice of weapon being a gun, and being said to have excellent marksmanship
