We visited the Nadežda Petrović Art Gallery, where we purchased a book featuring Serbian women artists. We were lucky enough to receive a book about Serbian women in Novi Sad. ✨ Our final meeting & the opening of the "Rue’Elles 2.0" exhibition
As our journey with the "Rue’Elles 2.0" project comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences, friendships, and cultural exchanges that have shaped this adventure.
Our final meeting was more than just a conclusion – it was a celebration of the dedication, creativity, and collaboration that made this project possible. Together, we explored the power of history and memory as tools for social change, honoring the women whose names mark our streets while sparking conversations about equality and representation.
The opening of the @rue_elles exhibition beautifully crowned this process. Through photographs and stories collected in France, Serbia, Romania, Italy, and Spain, the exhibition highlights the impact of women whose legacies continue to inspire us today. It was a moving and inspiring moment that reminded us of the strength of collective effort and shared vision.
Although Rue’Elles 2.0 officially closes here, the ideas, partnerships, and energy it generated will continue to grow. Every ending is also a new beginning – and we look forward to the future collaborations that will carry this momentum forward.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to all partners, participants, and supporters who made this journey unforgettable. The story of Rue’Elles 2.0 is only just beginning.
The ebook Rue'Elles 2.0, which lists streets named after women and their stories in Spain, Italy, Romania, Serbia & France, accompanied by the Mobility travel diary of this project.
