We ended our youth exchange with an unforgettable Festival of Cultures, where participants from 9 countries came together to share their traditions through music, dance, food, and performances. Even the rain couldn't stop the celebration, it only made the memories more special.
We spent the day rehearsing for the Festival of Cultures, supporting one another, and putting the finishing touches on our performances. We also had a YouthPass workshop and we welcomed @youngmediasharks, who inspired participants with their work in youth participation, media, and active citizenship.
We ended the day with a wonderful French Evening 🇫🇷, enjoying delicious traditional food, music, and discovering more about Bretagne culture and traditions.
Day 7
On the seventh day, it was all about the final preparations! We started the morning with a rehearsal at the market square before continuing in the afternoon with our local teams, putting the finishing touches on our Festival of Cultures performances.
The day ended with a wonderful Slovakia Evening 🇸🇰, where we enjoyed traditional food, music, dances, and learned more about Slovak culture.
We visited local beekeepers to learn about honey production and the importance of bees, continued preparing for the Festival of Cultures through rehearsals, met inspiring artists from @urbanartfestivalstyria.
We wrapped up the day celebrating Bosnia and Herzegovina Evening 🇧🇦 with traditional food, music, dances, and culture.
The fifth day was dedicated to learning local dances and performances. A big thank you to Heinz for his inspiring stories, passion, and knowledge, which help keep local traditions alive.
In the evening, the Norwegian team hosted a cultural event filled with performances, flavors, and unforgettable moments.
Day 4 began with a hike through the Austrian countryside, amidst forests, fresh air, and breathtaking scenery, including a stop at Gschuarhof to experience local hospitality and traditional life.
In the evening, the Turkish team hosted a cultural journey to Turkey, featuring a delicious dinner, music, dancing, and traditional performances.
On Day 3, music and dance proved that you don’t need to speak the same language to connect. In a joyful atmosphere, participants taught each other traditional dances, learned new steps, and encouraged one another.
Seeing everyone dancing, laughing, and celebrating each other’s cultures perfectly embodies the spirit of the project.
An intercultural Spanish evening to wrap things up!
The day was marked by the launch of festival planning, featuring an inspiring activity led by the French team that brought all the participants together.
Each national team worked on its performances, filling the venue with music, dance, and high spirits.
In the evening, a Greek cultural event was held, featuring a traditional dinner, performances, and the sharing of customs.
