For this project, I had to work with a partner to research information about two countries of our choice, such as the population, demographics, languages spoken, the climate, technology, technology culture, and the digital divide
The locations me and my partner chose to do was the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
One Interesting fact I learned about both locations was that they are mobile-first countries, which means people don't use computers, they rely on smartphones as their main way to access the internet.
From this project, I learned how technology use differs between countries depending on factors like income, location, and population. I also learned how important mobile devices are for internet access in both Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Working with a partner helped me improve my teamwork and communication skills while using Microsoft Office programs like PowerPoint and Word to stay organized and consistent. Overall, this project strengthened both my understanding of global technology and my ability to collaborate effectively.
