21-Jun-2018: 6 families met today. We had good discussion. We are all set to celebrate Aadi Thirivizha 2018 (Aadi 18) on Aug 4th. It was suggsted adding all moms and dads to the Whatsap group. Moms will lead the Aadi Thiruvizha. Dads will support. we will have brief ceremony followed kids talk/performance, Tamil Vilayattu, and Dinner. Proposed Location Bill Barber Park. Potluk Vs. Buying Food is to be decided based on the number of people Sign up link will be sent. It was suggested monthly or bi-monthly and meeting every 3rd Saturday of the month for Monthly Tamil Wisdom Council Meet and Karthikeya, Valli, Devayani Abhishekam @ Mandir will be the great occassion.

16-Jun-2018: Some of us with families got together at Irvine Mandir and participated in Karthikeya, Valli, Devayani Abhishekam at Mandir. We all had wonderful Dharisanam. Mr. Balagopalan has been oranzing this for around 8 years. Many thanks to the organizer Mr. Balagopalan and prists. Kids and adults can perform instrumental and vocal performance during this event. Let us encourge kids to participate from next month event (3rd Saturday). Muthu Balu and Kumaravelu will be leading and coordinating Monthly Tamil Wisdom Council Meet and Karthikeya, Valli, Devayani Abhishekam from Orange County Tamils. We discussed about having mega Orange County Get Together (Tamil Sports, other kids events, dinner/lunch) on July 28, 2018. Events Team to lead this event.

02-Jun-2018: Some of us met at Irvine Mandir participated in Orange County Tamils launch puja. We felt blessed when we had a surprise Sankatahara Chaturthi puja for Lord Ganesha at Mandir. We have wonderful opportunity to participate in Karthikeya, Valli, Devayani Abhishekam at Mandir Third Saturday of every month at 5 PM. We are coordinating with organizers to participate every month.
