This game contains 3 types of decks; the Character Deck, the Item Deck, and the World Tiles.
To play the game you need in total at least 10 Character Cards, 30 Item Cards, and 20 World Tiles. Each player that brings their own set of cards into the game needs at least 5 Character, 15 Items, and 10 World Tiles.
You cannot have more than 30 cards for each player playing the game.
For a 2 player game, you can have at most 60 Character Cards, 60 Item Cards, and 60 World Tile.
For a 4 player game, the most total cards you could have are 120 Character Cards, 120 Item Cards, and 120 World Tile.
All the Character Cards must have their matching Item Cards and World Tiles included.
Each player should shuffle their own Character Decks and then place it beside themselves. Then, each player should take the first card from the top of their Character Deck--That will be the Character you will start the game with.
Attach a WHITE slider at the top of your character's HP counter and put that card into a character stand and place it on the tile closet to yourself.
Note: You may use any kind of recognizable token to represent your character, and place your character card to the side in a location where everyone playing can see its stats.
Combine and shuffle all the player’s World Tiles and then split them up equally between all players. You may look at your World Tiles.
Taking turns, each player should then place their World Tiles out on the table in front of themselves, face down.
Each World Tile must touch 2 other tiles, and they should line up and touch their nearby player’s cards in at least 2 places, allowing for players to be able to walk onto other players ‘Worlds.’
Otherwise, Players can organize their World Tiles in whichever shape as they like.
Then, all the player Item Cards should be combined into one deck and shuffled before being placed on the table within reach for all players.
You can do 2 things on your turn.
Move your character by rolling a die
Use either an Item or an ability.
Note: You cannot use both an Item and an ability on the same turn.
The number the die lands on is the amount of tiles you must walk through. AKA, If you roll a 6, you must move through 6 Tiles.
Your Character cannot go backwards onto a tile they have just left, but they could move around in a circle to re-land on a previous tile.
The only exception to this rule is if you enter a dead end. In that case, your turn ends at the dead end.
Once you finish moving, if you land on a tile that is face down, flip the tile under your Character over. This means the tile is Discovered.
Follow the instructions on the tile, unless it’s the World Tile that matches your Character. Matching World Tiles have no effect on their matching Character Card. For example, if it tells you to grab an Item Card, you can't draw a card.
Otherwise, do as the card tells you. For example, If it tells you to attach a RED slider, grab one and attach it to your character card.
Randomized Movement
For randomize movement, roll a die to determine the direction. Each side of a World Tile can be assigned a number 1-6.
The top of the tile is 1, and it goes clockwise.
If the direction you roll does not have a path you can take, you may roll again.
On a Discovered Tile, the top of the tile is where it’s name is located.
On an Undiscovered Tile, the top of the tile is in-between the Humanoid and Misfit mascots.
If you land on a tile that is face up, that tile will be turned back-over and is now Undiscovered, unless it is the matching World Tile to your Character Card. An Undiscovered World Tile has no text for you to read, so you have nothing you have to do before you end your turn.
To win the game, once you get the Item Card that matches the Character Card you are currently playing as (Lost Baggage), you must then travel to the World Tile that matches your Character Card. If you manage to get there, then you win and the game is over.
If you land on or move through a Tile another player is standing on, you may instigate a battle with that player.
The winner of the battle will take all of the defeated player's remaining Item Cards; including any Lost Baggage.
The defeated player will then place their Character in a discard pile, and they may draw a new card from their Character Deck and start at the tile closest to the player's physical position.
Note: During a battle, basic gameplay is not paused. This means that if you are playing with 3 or 4 players, the players that are not in battle will still have their turn.
Your character can be inflicted with Status Effects. Status Effects are represented by different color sliders that can be attached to your card. Status Effects do not wear off and can only be removed through either an Item, Tile, Ability, or a Skill.
If your character is inflicted with a Status Effects. Attach the specified slider to your character card.
The RED slider means you to lose -1 HP on the start of your turn.
The BLUE slider means you must roll a die on the start of your turn, and if you roll a 1 or a 6, your turn is skipped.
You can only have one slider of each color on your character. This means you can stack different types of Status Effects on top of each other, but you cannot stack the same types of Status Effects.
Note: If your turn is skipped for any reason, and you have the RED slider attached to your character, you will still lose -1 HP for your skipped turn.

Shuffle all the Item Cards you have collected throughout the game, and then place them face down on the table.
These Items are Your Deck, and your opponent's Items, are the Opponent’s Deck.
The instigator goes first during Battle Gameplay. After the instigator, it’s the defender’s turn. Then, the players who are not in battle have their turn.
On your turn during battle, you first draw an item and then can do 1 more action before it’s the next player's turn.
You can….
・Use an Attack
・Use an Ability
・Use a Special Skill
・Draw a new Item Card from your Item’s to
put in Your Hand
・Use an Item that is in Your Hand
・Attach an Item Card to your Character for
them to use as payment for one of their
future Special Skills.
Some Special Skills, Abilities, and Attacks may ask you to do something with Your Deck, Your Hand, Opponent’s Deck, and/or the Opponent’s Hand.
If you have an Item equipped, that Item can do 1 action bonus action based on what is written on the card. This action does not count as your own action and is done based on the situation written on the card.
If a player’s Character gets 0 HP, the battle is completed and that player has lost.
A battle can also end if a player has an Ability, Special Skill, or Item that allows for movement. If you use a Special Skill, Ability or an Attack that moves you to a new location, then the battle ends early. In that case, no one wins the battle.
