No expansion for OCniverse has been made, but below are some ideas taken from our discord in no particular order.
All the cards are themed around a color. May do 2 at a time to do a Red VS Blue, etc packs.
Birthday's, Easter, Hanukkah, Valentines Day, Halloween, April fools, etc
All OC's are turned into food or are eating food.
The War On Magic
Alternate universe variants of characters and their items. Like Pirates. The OC's in the deck are not originally pirates
A series of mini contests based around drawing the Welcome OC's. We vote, and the winners get their cards added to the deck <for sure> and the losers get their cards added randomly.
Each artist is assigned a different artist's OC, and must draw them before the holidays arive as a gift. There may be a wishlist of ideas of what kind of art they'd love of their OC
Each artist has to draw all other artist OC's within the time limit. The decks then randomize which version of each OC purchasers get.
All the card's art are themed around different memes or are parody’s based off of past cards.
All cards have more then 1 OC on it!
Each card has art that combines to make a full illustration
All characters are children (new or existing characters from base set)
New "Event" cards that sets a new rule for the whole board that applies to each player. This event is live until a new event is drawn.
→ Tag may cause a player to lose the game if they are unable to be adjacent to another player by the end of their turn with in 5 turns
→ Capture the flag may have players try to reach a certain point on the board instead of reaching their home tile to win
→ Sneaky Statues may have players play against a "Security Guard" with Dungeon! mechanics (roll a dice to determine moves to closest player).
Each character (player) is one of 3 roles after rolling the dice. If there is no [King], the first person to recieve their key item is now [King] King (6)
Draw 1 Item card before the game starts
Start with +5 Max HP
At the end of your turn, if you are not adjacent to a [Knight], take 1 damage
If you are defeated, become a [Peasant] and the victor is now the [King]
Knight (2,4)
You cannot engage a battle with the [King] unless you have your key item
Gain ability [BackStab]
Add 1 base damage to any effect that causes damage
Peasant (1,3,5)
Draw 2 Item cards before the game starts
Start with -2 Max HP
There's an item card that if drawn, you get a contact to certain type of OC.
Perhaps it says something like "must defeat a feral OC". You must finish this contract before you collect your Item and World card to beat the game. If there are no Ferals in play, then your contract is voided and you don't need to worry about it
The time description made me think of an interesting expansion idea. Where each world is either set in the "past, present, or future" and items come with a mark on it for each of those categories. So when you grab a card from a certain world tile, you mark the "past, present, or future" on the item card with a slider, which effects the items skills. And other items can transform an item to the different settings.
Bucket List - A list containing several things the OCs would like to do before they lose all their HP. Several variants of this card exist. You must get to a world tile that has a specific thing on it (A sunset, snow, a city, etc.) If you do not get to this, you must discard 2 item cards and take 5 damage. Roll a dice. For however much you roll, you must move. If you land on a world tile that has what is on the bucket list, you may draw as many cards that remain from your dice roll. Tourist Trap - The OC had fallen for the classic tourist trap! The OC is only allowed to move within world tiles that are touching the 'trap' card. Hidden Gem - Maybe the places no one goes too is actually better . . . If your character is affected by Tourist Trap, use this card to leave the affected area. If character is not affected, gain 2 HP.
An expansion pack of cards based around physical items. Such as clay, crochet, etc. There may be a raffle where preorders may come with the item that was crafted for the card
a Pack full of variants for cards! Specifically ones that are W.I.P pictures of those cards or concepts for the card art that only got W.I.P art
Every character pretty eepy but lost their way home
Each character wears / holds something they sleep with and is eepy
Effects on all players
Global Passive ability [Sleep] (only activates at turn-end)
[Sleep] - Skip your next turn and gain 1 HP. Status effects and Battle will still activate. If you have [HARM], instead gain 1 [INSOMNIA]
[INSOMNIA] - If you have 7 of this card (Not actually a card, probably some sort of counter on the side using the card taggers), discard your current character and your [INSOMNIA] cards. Draw a new character.
[SleepWalk] - Only activate if you have [Sleep]. Inflict damage equal to the lowest cost on your character and then roll a dice. Close your eyes and players (clockwise) move your character that many spaces. Gain [Sleep] at the end of this turn. You cannot activate [SleepWalk] until 5 turns have passed.
Items
[Chloroform] - Equip [Rag] to use abilities. 2 uses
First use - Inflict [Sleep] x2 and deal 2 damage
Second use - Inflict [Sleep]
[Rag] doesn’t really do anything on its own
[Emergency Blanket] - “The comforting embrace reminds you of your childhood” - Discard once equipped. Gain 2 HP
[Lost Toy] - Bring to [Playground] to use one ability. Discard [Lost Toy]
Call Out - “A small child comes to the call, but what are they doing out here so late?” Draw 1 card from the item deck
Play - Gain 1 [INSOMNIA], draw 2 cards from the item deck
[Pillow] - Gain protection from [Harm] but lose [SleepWalk]. Every instance of [Sleep] inflicted upon you doubles
[House Key] (on equip) - Pick a character’s world tile not discovered yet. You win if you land on that tile with your [KEY_ITEM]. If you [Sleep], lose possession of this item. The adjacent player gain possession. If 2 or more players are adjacent, each person rolls a dice and the highest gains [House Key]
A expansion pack built off Cliches and Tropes from Slasher films. Including slasher movie variants of existing cards and whole original cards
