About this annual event:
The OCMC Symposium (held annually in late February/early March) is an opportunity for attendees to learn effective instructional strategies to take back to their own classrooms. The registration cost includes dinner, an inspiring “big picture” keynote presentation, breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics for all grade levels, raffle prizes, and OCMC membership for that calendar year. Math educators and administrators from all grade levels are welcome.
Previous Symposium keynote speakers have included Vanessa Cerrahoglu (2022), Laila Nur (2020), Dr. Cathery Yeh (2019), Nanette Johnson (2018), Matt Vaudrey (2017), Robert Kaplinsky (2016), Chris Shore (2015), Dr. Patrick Callahan (2014), Ellen Barger (2013), and Dr. Mark Ellis (2012).
