The OCMC Math Field Day is an all-day math competition for students in Grades 4, 5, and 6, and is an opportunity for Orange County elementary schools to join together in promoting excellence in mathematics, team work, achieving goals, and school spirit.

The Math Field Day competition categories are:

• Number and Operations

• Algebraic Thinking

• Geometry

• Data Analysis

• Measurement

The top teams for each grade level for each category will be recognized with Math Field Day medals. All participants receive "goodie bags" of prizes from community donations. Through 2023, the Orange County Math Council has sponsored Math Field Day for 29 years.
