The IRD Campbell weather station located on the shore of Huatajata has been operating since June 2012. The data recovery from the Campbell CR1000 datalogger is performed manually on the occasion of field works. The data are used as terrestrial references for the comparisions with the data generated above the water surface by the Vaisala weather station onboard the HydroMet buoy, The parameters data below are presented on a yearly basis untel 2023.

2012-2024 evolution of each meteorological parameter at the Huatajata coastal weather station
Table of yearly average, median, standard deviation, minimum, and maximum of each meteorological parameter during the 2012-2023 period - Notes: Data of 2013 only correspond to the 2nd semester. Data of 2017 only correspond to the 1st semester. Since 2018, the anemometer bearings have been damaged, which is why the data are no longer reliable.

2012-2023 Yearly average (min, max) evolution of wind speed (m/s)
2012-2023 Yearly average (min, max) evolution of wind direction (degree). Note: Since 2018, data are no more reliable
2012-2023 Yearly average (min, max) evolution of rain (mm/15 min)
2012-2023 Yearly average (min, max) evolution of atmospheric pressure (mbar) Note: Since 2013, minimum values are not always reliable.
2012-2023 Yearly average (min, max) evolution of Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR, (LI-190R Quantum Sensor; 400-700 nm; W.m-2)
2012-2023 Yearly average (min, max) evolution of Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR, (LI-190R Quantum Sensor; 400-700 nm; mole.m-2.s-1)
Note: For solar radiation parameters (Rg, PAR), it would be more appropriate to compute average and median, only based on the diurnal period (not including the nocturnal period). The minimum is obviously zero or close to zero (at night).
