High society birthday party
A high-stakes political event concerning the future of the Netherlands.During the lavish high-society party of the spoiled rich birthday boy, Roderick Brenkmeijer, the crackling voice of a radio broadcast abruptly shatters the evening’s festivities as guests learn about the bombing of the Parliament in The Hague by vicious terrorists. Little do they know, the attacks were orchestrated by military command, who are present at the party, to take control of The Netherlands.However, not everyone is caught off guard. A secret organisation called Scarab, ancient and enigmatic, is deeply concerned about the intentions of the new regime. Scarab has ruled over humanity for thousands of years through politics, indoctrination, and paranormal abilities. They are descendants of the pharaohs, who originally arrived on Earth as humanoid aliens from another world.
