Exhibition at a modern art gallery
At an actual modern art gallery, art critics engage in conversation with artists about their work and the revival of post-post-post-post Cubism and its subsequent developments. There is rivalry between four fictional art movements: iDea (who care only about concepts), the post-Cubists (old-fashioned craftsmen), Mensch (radical enfants terribles), and Kosmos (an esoteric kitsch movement). In advance, participants portraying artists create their own works of art. As a fun element, titles are provided by the Obscurus organisers before they see the artwork. For example, someone painting a green square might end up with a title like “Dying of the Young Bride”. Imagine explaining THAT to the critics!• Players: 25
