11/03/2026: Soham Basu has received the Third Prize for Poster Presentation at the Japan-NER Academia-Industry Technology Cooperation Symposium 2026 organized by Gifu University (Japan) and IIT Guwahati. 

05/12/2025: Soham Basu has received the FEBS (Federation of European Biochemical Societies) Journal Prize for Best Poster Presentation at the 13th International Conference on Yeast Biology (India Yeast Meeting 2025), held at IISc Bangalore.

04/12/2025: Soham Basu has been selected as a LOTUS programme graduate exchange student at the Institute of Medicine, University of Tsukuba, Japan. 

19/08/2024: Tanveera Rounaque Sarhadi, has received  the DBT-CTEP Travel Grant to attend the EMBO Workshop on Membrane Contact Sites, to be held in Monopoli (BA), Italy, from 28th September to 3rd October 2025. 

18/08/2024: Isha Kashyap, has received the ANRF travel grant under the International travel scheme (ITS) for presenting her work at the EMBO workshop Celebrating 70 years of peroxisome research, Spain (02 September 2025 to 06 September 2025) 

11/07/2024: Dr. Shirisha Nagotu has been selected for membership in the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, India, (NASI) for the year 2025.

26/22/2025: Tanveera Rounaque Sarhadi, won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the International Conference on Biomedical and Applied Clinical Sciences (BioMACS’25) held at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, from February 25–28, 2025. 

16/02/2025: Anushka Dixit received the received the 'Best Master's Innovative Project Presentation Award' at Research and Industrial Conclave 2025 (RIC-25) organized by IIT Guwahati. 

12/02/2025: Ankita Adhikary received the second prize for poster presentation at the BSBE Mini Symposium organized by IIT Guwahati. 

20/12/2024: Dr Shirisha Nagotu, was awarded the Mid-Career Lady Gerontologist Award (Biogerontology) of the Association of Gerontology India (AGI) in the 21st Biennial conference of AGI held at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), Delhi from 13-15 December.  

20/12/2024: Isha Kashyap, won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 21st Biennial Conference of AGI, held at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), Delhi, from December 13–15. 2024. 

18/06/2022: Agradeep Mukherjee, has been awarded the Best Thesis Award in the 24th Convocation of IIT Guwahati, for his thesis being adjudged the best among the theses of eligible students in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering for the Academic Year 2021-2022.
