Steps to Create a Sleek Bun:
Preparation: Wet hair and apply gel or smoothing cream.
Middle Part: Part hair evenly from forehead to crown using a fine-tooth comb.
Slick Back: Brush hair back smoothly, applying gel as needed for a sleek finish.
Ponytail: Gather hair at the nape and secure with elastic bands.
Form the Bun: Twist ponytail into a rope and coil into a flat circle around the elastic.
Pin: Secure the bun with large hairpins, ensuring it's tight.
Hairnet: Wrap a matching hairnet around the bun twice and tuck in the excess.
Final Touches: Use hairspray and edge control for a polished look.

Makeup: Makeup for this age is optional. We recommend rosy-pink blush, black or dark brown mascara (if they will let you!) and rosy pink lipstick.

Makeup:
Base: Apply a light layer of foundation, followed by powder to set.
Blush: Use a rosy blush on the upper apples of your cheeks.
Eyeshadow: Apply a brown, matte eyeshadow on the lid, and a well-blended medium to dark brown crease. Highlight the browbone and inner corner.
Mascara: Black waterproof mascara (false eyelashes not required for dancers under 12).
Lipstick: Cool-toned Red or Berry Lipstick.
