All costumes are thoughtfully selected by our instructors and will be sent home with all required accessories.
Once costumes go home, we ask families to help keep them safe and performance-ready. To keep everything in great condition, please store costumes in a secure place and save them for showcase events only.
Costume payments must be made through our DSP Parent portal by May 31st.
Costumes will be distributed after classes the week of June 1st.
Families are responsible for providing all required tights and shoes. Please be sure to order any required shoes well in advance so your dancer is fully prepared.
These should be purchased before Dress Rehearsal on June 19th at the theater so dancers can rehearse in the correct attire.
For exact requirements, please refer to our Shoes & Tights Sheet:

We recommend shopping through our Nimbly Shop for convenience.
Simply select the category “Summer Showcase 2026” to find everything you need.
A little care goes a long way in keeping costumes stage-ready:
Store costumes hanging in a garment bag
Keep costumes for showcase use only (they’ll have plenty of time to shine after!)
Follow garment labels for cleaning instructions
Hand wash gently in cold water if needed
Avoid tumble drying
Limit direct sunlight exposure
Skip dry cleaning
Light steaming is perfect for a polished look
If you’re ever unsure, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
If your dancer is in a self-costuming group, all outfits must be approved by June 1st.
You can do this by:
Bringing the costume to class
Showing it in person
Sending a photo for review
Undergarments should be skin-toned and not visible under costumes
Please ensure all pieces fit securely so dancers feel confident on stage
Only accessories included with the costume should be worn.
For quick changes, please wear a skin-toned leotard or bra and brief set under all costumes.
We HIGHLY suggest bringing a laundry basket to drop all used costumes in. This will make it easier for you to collect belongings at the end of the show and your dancer will have ease and speed of changing costumes.
If you have a portable costume rack, please bring it as hanging space is quite limited.
You may bring some snacks to keep in the designated food area. Lunch will be provided for you!
