Costumes, Hair & Makeup

Costumes

All costumes have been fitted in class by our front desk staff and/or instructors.  Minor alterations will be taken care of by the studio at no additional cost.  You will receive your costume steamed and ready to wear in a zippered garment bag with all accessories.  We will pair your costume with tights that match the costume ordered. Please be sure you purchase a new pair of tights for the performance, we also recommend sending an extra pair- labeled with your child's name - just in case!  Once the costume has been sent home, you are responsible for the costume.  Replacement costs will apply.  Please keep it in a safe spot and do not wear it for dress-up or other purposes until after all performances are complete!

Costume payments must be made through our DSP Parent portal by June 1st.

Costumes will be distributed after classes the week of June 1st.

Caring for your Costumes

Please hang your costumes to store them, and ensure your child does not wear their costume other than for showcase-related events.  (After showcase please feel free to strut around town in it!) If you must wash your costumes, please follow the garment label and otherwise ensure they are hand-washed in cold water. Costumes should never be tumble-dried, and take care not to over-expose them to direct sunlight. Dry Cleaning is NOT recommended.  When it doubt, please contact us for further instructions.
