What are scholarships?

Scholarships are forms of financial aid for members who want to further their BBYO experience by attending events such as regional events and chapter trips. Although most events held by Oakland and BBYO are free, overnight trips and a few other events have addition prices and it is our job to ensure that any member who wants to attend an event can and that finances will not limit them.

Why are they important?

BBYO is an inclusive program and we want to be able to offer the best experience to everyone. It is important that every member feels welcomed and is able to participate. You can always feel free to talk to our or the greater organization if you need any sort of financial help.

How can you qualify for one?

The first step would be to reach out to Yael (our gizborit) then we can work with you and your family to workout a financial plan for you!
