Recruitment/Scholarship Audition
High School 10th-12th grade students are eligible to participate in the on-site Recruitment/Scholarship Audition on Saturday, November 18, 2023. College Dance Departments and Professional Dance Companies will use the Oakland Dance Festival's audition as a recruitment tool for degree and summer dance intensive programs. Program awards will vary from year to year, so please check the Scholarship Offerings page to follow what colleges and companies are offering this year...Pre-screen waivers, priority entrance, and financial awards. Sophomores and Juniors will be considered for Summer Dance Intensives. Seniors will be considered for college dance departments and summer dance intensives.
8:15 AM - CHECK-IN/GET YOUR AUDITION NUMBER
9:00 AM - 11:25 AM - AUDITION CLASS (BALLET, MODERN/CONTEMPORARY, JAZZ COMBINATIONS)
ALL STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE AUDITION MUST COMPLETE A FORM, INCLUDING STUDENTS REGISTERED WITH GROUPS.
