That Is a Bad Idea by Mo Willems

Here's a super fun read aloud for my OGES friends by Mo Willems! If you are a big fan of Mo Willems, he has a video series called Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems and you can learn how to draw from this talented author/illustrator. Check that out on Youtube as well!

Bear Feels Sick

This week I read one of my favorites, Bear Feels Sick by Karma Wilson . Follow along with me in the video! Keep watching and you might even see a real "bear!" There's an activity at the end that can be done at home. Email pictures of student work to aspowell@jefcoed.com. I'd love to see what you do at home! Enjoy and keep reading!

An excellent author/illustrator of over 260 children's books has passed away today, Tomie de Paola. Do you have a favorite book by this author? I still remember loving the Popcorn Book as a kid. Take a listen to Strega Nona in his memory.
