Know Thy Self – a deep dive into you as an individual and a leader
Know Your Community - Strategically leading your organization, working with City Council, and authentically connecting it to your community
Know Your Money - How do you build a budget that moves your strategic community vision forward
Breakdown Barriers - Intersectional conversations around gender, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the profession and workplace
Building Confidence - Communication, Confidence, and Orchestration
Getting THE Job – Peeling back the curtain on the Executive recruitment process while preparing and getting ready for your next step
In addition to this exciting, impactful curriculum, Cohort 4 will work on a small group project to compete for a place on the WCMA summer conference agenda, an opportunity that offers state wide exposure to your talents to the larger peer group of city/county managers and administrators!

On March 10th, 2023 we celebrated you and your completion of the Academy! We sent you off with an energizing, uplifting keynote speaker, Deanna Dawson of AWC and an inspiring message from NWWLA Cohort 2 alumni, Courtney Brunnel, City Administrator of Buckley, WA. We hope you this celebration gave you continued forward momentum and that you all stay connected throughout your leadership journeys.
