Since 2017, The National Writing Project's Professional Writing Community has been active through our Kent State University site. We exchange drafts, digitally, providing feedback to one another - this allows for a growing understanding of the writing process through personal experience.
We stand by the principle that it takes a writer to guide a student through the writing process, and so teachers who engage in the writing process are the best qualified candidates.
As of 2020, participants in this cohort can earn CEUs or graduate credit hours (for a reasonable price) to apply to licensure renewal.
