This year NWO Eagles would like to make a donation to the Josh Minton Foundation. Josh was a 2006 Elmwood High School Graduate and basketball alumni. During his time at Elmwood he played Football and Basketball and enjoyed particiapting in Civil War reinactments. Josh was kind hearted, hard working, goal driven and an all-around great young man.
After graduation Josh attended West Point where he graduated in 2010. At West Point he played collegietly for the Army Rugby Team. He was deployed to Afghanstain and then medically retired in 2018. At the age of 27 he was diagnosed with a rare and incurrable form of cancer. He lost his battle with cancert at the age of 32.
In 2021 his parents started the Josh Minton Foundation which provides support to indviduals and families affected by cancer and military service.
