About Me

I was born and raised in Texas, where I lived until I graduated high school. I earned my Ph.D. from Yale University. Before that, I received a dual B.S. in Engineering & Applied Science and English from Caltech. I also completed an M.P.A. at Columbia University.

When I'm not working, I enjoy soccer, rock climbing, and cooking.

I also love traveling and have spent extended time in India, Denmark, Germany, and Norway for research and study. In addition to English, I speak Cantonese, Spanish, Bangla, Norwegian, and Danish.
