January 20. The first time came to Gabaldon Central School. I met the teachers, students, and the principal, Sir Felix.

During the first week, observe how teachers teach in the classroom. I was assigned to the 3rd-grade science class with Ma'am Lizel as my CT.

Learning and creating Philippine lesson plans, which differ from the ones used in Indonesia, to be taught in the second week  (struggling)

Since I haven’t started teaching yet, sometimes I help the teacher check students’ exam answers.

We always had lunch together during break time with our buddies, who are also practice teachers from NEUST for three months at the school.  Joy, Jeane, and Krisha

January 27: My first day of teaching, assigned to the 3rd-grade Mahogany class. I was very nervous and still made a lot of mistakes.

Two teachers observed me and gave feedback on what I was doing well and suggestions for how to improve in my next class. This was very helpful.

The second class of the day was in 3rd-grade science, and it went a little better than the previous one. (still not used to writing with chalk)

On my second day of teaching, things were a bit more relaxed because the students were very smart and actively participated in class.

The next few days, I was still teaching and giving assessments, but forgot to take a picture, haha.

January 29 is National Bible Month, so the students wore costumes and the school held a parade.

The third week, the day before the final demonstration. Still teaching.

February 3, the day finally came. The final demonstration. I was so scared. I even cried before it started, haha

My buddy, Joy, was a great help in creating instructional materials. She’s smart and creative.
