There were a lot of open booth and showcase events in which I participated, especially in 2022. Here are some open booths that I joined. ^^
This was the first open booth event in which I participated. During this event, my friends and I presented and shared information about our game project in the year 2022. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and we received positive feedback from both kids and teachers who appreciated our game. The open booth taught me valuable lessons, particularly the importance of understanding your target audience. This is crucial when designing the interface of your game since it's the primary point of interaction for your target players. In my case, the target players for my game are children aged 5 to 10. Consequently, I designed a simple interface with vibrant colors and engaging animations to appeal to their age group. I gained insights that will undoubtedly shape my future game development efforts. I look forward to the opportunity to participate in more open booths in the future.
What an unforgettable memory! I had the opportunity to present my game project in front of our former prime minister, Ismail Sabri, at the Malaysia Digital Launch and MDEC’s Jubilee Anniversary ceremony. Being there, I felt a mix of nervousness and pride as it was my first time meeting the prime minister, with numerous media people and cameras present. Despite the initial nervousness, the experience was incredible, and I felt a sense of accomplishment. It was an extraordinary opportunity, and I hope as DIP students, we can continue to explore more in this digital world. The presentation has boosted my confidence, and I look forward to more opportunities in the future.
In 2022, we opened a booth in the computer lab to showcase our games, and we are happy to announce that we got second place!
