I' have participated in a lot of competitions, experiencing both wins and losses. However, each competition has been a valuable learning experience, providing me with valuable lessons and awesome memories. I'm eagerly looking forward to joining more competitions in the future!
Future Innovators, Open Category, 5th place
Participating in the National Robotics Competition was a truly memorable experience. We dedicated about a month and a half to working on our project, and it was a fantastic learning journey in the field of robotics. Throughout the process, we acquired valuable skills, including coding using EV3 and Scratch. We also delved deeper into creating professional project documentation and honed our presentation skills. The entire experience was incredibly rewarding, and it was a great opportunity to apply and expand our knowledge in robotics.
Secondary Category, National Level, BRONZE
What an incredible experience! Winning the competition with my game, the Tiger Game, was beyond amazing. I created it when I was just 13, inspired by a Malaysian childhood game. Winning brought me a prize of RM 1000, a beautiful trophy, and loads of cool merchandise. Even though I was on holiday with my family during the announcement, my teacher, Miss Amalina, accepted the award on my behalf.
Creating the game was so much fun, and I loved every bit of it. The journey taught me crucial game development skills, how to make a game captivating, choosing the right theme, and understanding the target audience. It's an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to join the competition again next year!
8th December 2023
On December 8th, I passed the PCEP exam, which was a significant accomplishment for a 15-year-old student like me. This experience enabled me to earn a valuable certificate for answering Python-related questions. I am grateful to MDEC for sponsoring our participation in this exam.
National Level, SILVER
Winning the Silver Award and earning RM 200 in this competition was a proud moment for my team and me. Our presentation featured the Deaf-Friendly Fire Alarm, aimed at aiding deaf individuals during household emergencies like fires. The project taught us valuable skills in conducting effective research for product development.
2023, National Level, SILVER
Participating in this competition involved the integration and collaboration of our Project-Based Learning (PBL) projects. It was a fantastic experience, teaching me the importance of effective collaboration with other groups and the art of cooperating harmoniously with teammates.
2023, National Level, Semi final
While we didn't secure a win in this competition, we did reach the semi-final round, which was a significant achievement. Our project involved the creation of a study app tailored to assist high school students with dyslexia. The app boasted various unique features, including engaging games, intriguing notes, and well-crafted quizzes. Even though we didn't get the top prize, we had a lot of fun and felt proud of our app.
2022, National Level, SILVER
Participating in the Beaver Computational Thinking Competition was an exciting experience, and I'm happy to share that I were awarded the Silver Award. It was a great opportunity to test our computational thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. The competition challenged us to think critically and creatively.
