Born in Lisbon, Nuno started his professional journey as a graphic designer and illustrator in 1988. With a specialization in Identity Design and Illustration, he has collaborated on various projects across Portugal, Greece, Malta, Angola, the United States, and England. His portfolio spans diverse sectors including sports equipment design, furniture, jewellery, storyboarding, cartoons, and graphic design.
He co-authors the book "Mandela, o Rebelde Exemplar" alongside journalist António Mateus, published by Planeta Editores in 2013. He represented Portugal at DesignMai in Berlin (2006) with the project "One Ring, Two Hundred Minds," a jewellery exhibition sponsored by AICEP and curated by designer Marco Sousa Santos.
Nuno is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. His artistic endeavours are grounded in transhumanist philosophy and speculative science, exploring ethical questions related to Humanity's interaction with technology, Human Augmentation, life extension, memory, and immortality. His introspective approach results in abstract creations in drawing, painting, sculpture, and video, encouraging viewers to engage with and interpret the works.
He is a co-founder of the Portuguese Paintball Federation (FPP), Galaxia Sobrero Association (Illustrators/Writers) and Rossio DEASCE Association (civil society initiative) and a community association (AAAFL).
