It is our great pleasure to welcome the 2026 cohort of TEEP and IIPP exchange students to the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Gongguan Campus.
Our University has always believed that Science is a global language. This workshop is designed not just to showcase your research but to foster deep discussions with our faculty and explore the rich cultural heritage of Taiwan. February 7-13, 2026: IIPP First Batch Deadline (deadline for students arriving in June)
February 22-28, 2026 (Expected): TEEP Application starts with PI matching assistance (see How to Apply).
April 15, 2026: IIPP/TEEP Deadline. (For students to join NTNU summer school in 2026).
April 30, 2026: Deadline to dormitory booking (see How to Apply).
June 1-30, 2026: Suggested arrival date for TEEP/IIPP internship.
August 4 – 7, 2026: NTNU Summer School Workshop Week.
Mid-August 2026: Dormitory move-out (unless prior arrangements are made with the PI).
Our program is structured to ensure that talented international students can focus on their research without the burden of tuition or high program costs.
During your 2–3 months of laboratory research, your daily living expenses are supported by the respective government scholarship portals.
TEEP Scholars: Approx. NT$12,000 – NT$15,000 (Approx.) provided by the Ministry of Education (MOE).
IIPP Scholars: Approx. NT$30,000 (NT$1,000/day) provided by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), reserved for students and their advisor through solid international collaboration.
What it covers: These funds are intended to help you cover your housing (on-campus dorms), daily meals, and personal local transportation.
Disbursement: Payments are typically made on a monthly basis after arrival and lab attendance verification.
For the week of the summer school, we provide additional support to ensure a smooth experience. There is no registration fee for the workshop.
The program fully covers the following during the workshop week:
Culture Trip: Transportation (chartered bus) and entrance tickets (e.g., National Palace Museum).
Networking Dinners: The Welcome Banquet and Social Dinner.
Catering: Lunch boxes and tea break refreshments are provided during the seminar and poster sessions.
Materials: Workshop kits, printed certificates, poster-printing service and program souvenirs.
