Phase 1 is a written exam which officers must undertake. This written exam is to be answered based on provided material. This ensures the recruits extensive policy-understanding and knowledge prior to commencing practical training. The passing grade is 75%.
Phase 2 is the practical training phase of the Academy process. This is delivered in-game and provides recruits with knowledge such as conflict resolution, traffic stops, arrest procedures and patrolling standards adequate to life on the beat.
Phase 3 is the probationary phase. Officers will undergo a period determined by their performance of patrolling as a Probationary Constable, supervised by another member of the force whenever on patrol. This allows us to understand areas of competence and improvement of applicants.
