Winemaker Adam Sbragia. his father Ed Sbragia, Winemaker Emeritus at Beringer Vineyards, purchased the old Lake Sonoma Facility in 2006. The winery is small, family-owned and is known for making wine from single vineyard designate. All of the wine is limited production and made distinctively in the big, rich, polished Sbragia style. The winery produces about 12,000 cases of wine per year

The CIA at Copia Napa CA
“Holiday Gala”
Napa’s Copia complex was opened from 2001 to 2008, an ambitious idea that perhaps came before its time. In Fall 2016 The Culinary Institute of America announced the renovated space will become a sister campus to its CIA at Greystone. Christmas Carolers entertained the members and guests of the Napa-Sonoma Bailliage. New Gift shop provided Christmas Shopping. A silent Auction raised funds for a Chain Scholarship Foundation in the memory of Jess Jackson. Rick Tigner discussed Jess Jackson impact on the Wine trade. Jennifer Jackson Hartford oldest daughter of Jess Jackson was inducted into La Chaine as Professional du Vin.

On a mild Fall evening the vision of a legendary founder, the commitment of the family, the expertise of a master gardener and the proficiency of an executive chef all joined together to present our Napa-Sonoma Bailliage members and guests with a selection of delectable food and outstanding wines. A small lot silent auction raised funds for a La Chaîne Scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, CA. After dinner a presentation of Mario Lanza’s life and greatest songs was performed by Lyric Tenor Joseph Frank & Pianist Randall Benway.

Chef Fiorella presented a spectacular 4-course dinner mostly harvested from the 16 acre organic farm. Each dish paired with estate wines by Directors Philippe Thibault, Lawrence Nadeau, & Chef Butron.
