Membership is balanced between non-professional gastronomes and professionals involved in the culinary or hospitality industries. This interaction between our professional and amateur members distinguishes La Chaine from other organizations.
For professional members, such as chefs, restaurateurs and hoteliers, the Chaîne offers opportunities to demonstrate their exceptional skills and creativity to a discerning, appreciative audience.
Non-professionals, Chaîne membership provides significant learning opportunities. For all interested men and women, membership offers opportunities to meet people who share a common interest in fine dining and good fellowship.
On a regional and national level, members may join Floating Assemblages, attend the National Convention and share in the activities of Chapters elsewhere in the country when space permits. And in thousands of Chaîne associated restaurants and hotels, both at home and abroad, members are welcomed as friends and recognized as diners who will appreciate extra efforts of the establishment and its staff.
Confrérie de la Chaine thrives in more than 90 countries worldwide and in the United States there are nearly 130 Bailliage’s each offering a variety of culinary activities to suit the interests of their members.
