Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This policy explains what happens to information when you use NRTZ, our card game for iPhone, iPad, and Mac ("the app"), including when you:

  - Download and use our mobile application (NRTZ),

  - Use NRTZ - A classic Nertz-solitaire card game, 

  - Engage with us in other related ways, including by e-mail.

The short version: we don't ask who you are, and we don't want to know. There is no account, no sign-up and no profile. The app makes no network requests of any kind. Your game progress is written to storage on your own device and never leaves it except through iCloud, into your own Apple Account, where we cannot see it.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the app.

This policy covers NRTZ, our card game for iPhone and iPad.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, we are the "data controller" for the little described here.

2. What we do not collect

- No account. No registration, username, password, or email address unless   you choose to write to us.

- No location. The app never asks for location permission and cannot read   your position.

- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health or payment data.

- No advertising. There is no ad network in this version, and no  advertising identifier is read.

- No analytics. We do not measure how you play, how long for, or what you  tap. We do not know how many rounds you have played.

- No cookies or tracking of any kind.

- No tracking across other apps or websites, by us or anyone else.

3. Your game progress

Your points, streak, trophies and settings are stored on your device.

If you have iCloud switched on, Apple syncs that file between your own devices through your own iCloud account. It is your data in your account — we have no access to it and no way to read it.

The app also offers a backup code you can copy and keep. It is generated on your device and goes wherever you choose to put it. It is never sent to us.

4. If you contact us

If you send us an email, we have your address and whatever you wrote. We use it to answer you and nothing else, and we delete it once the conversation is done.

5. Purchases

NRTZ 1.0 contains no in-app purchases. If a future version does, Apple handles the entire transaction and we never see your payment details.

6. Who we share information with

Nobody. We have nothing to share.

Apple operates the App Store and iCloud under its own privacy policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/), and any information Apple holds about your download or your iCloud account is governed by that, not by this policy.

7. Children

NRTZ carries a 13+ age rating on the App Store. That rating describes the content — a card game with nothing unsuitable in it — rather than the audience. The app is made for a general audience, is not aimed at children, and is not listed in the App Store's Kids Category.

Because the app collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children.

8. Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to see, correct, delete and port the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase.

If you have written to us, that email is the only thing we hold, and you can ask us to delete it at depots-desks.1s@icloud.com. We will respond within one month.

EEA and UK: you may complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

United States: residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the same rights. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.

9. Security

Your progress is protected by your device's own security and, if you use iCloud, by your Apple Account. The strongest protection here is that there is nothing to steal: we hold no accounts and no personal records.

10. Changes

We will update this policy when the app changes, and the date at the top will change with it. If a future version adds advertising, this page will say so before that version ships, and the App Store privacy labels will change with it.
