Preparing for the Future
College can be expensive but that does not mean it is out of reach. Through hard work many students can earn scholarships and grants so that college becomes a reality instead of a dream. The Academy of Leadership and Military Science Instructors as well as the guidance counselor will assist parents and students in locating, applying, and acquiring college/university scholarship opportunities.
Students interested in attending a service academy will have opportunities to obtain highly sought-after recommendations and will be assisted throughout the in-depth application process.
The purpose of the Navy ROTC Program is to educate and train qualified young men and women for service as commissioned officers in the Navy's unrestricted line, the Navy Nurse Corps and the Marine Corps.
**The 2026 scholarship application will be open from 1 April 2025 to 31 January 2026.**

Under the NPSR program, interested high school students may apply for university or privately funded scholarships to support room, board, and tuition while enrolled in a university NROTC preparatory program. This expanded relationship between the Navy and the schools that host preparatory programs offers a performance-based pathway for midshipman candidates to earn NROTC scholarships.
