A Unified Look for Meet Days: Team Warm-Ups

As we gear up for a fantastic track and field season, we are asking for your help in making sure our team looks like a cohesive unit. We would like every athlete to wear a solid black hoodie or jacket and solid black pants during warm-ups, between events, and on the podium.

To achieve this, we are strongly encouraging each athlete to have a set of solid black warm-ups for all meet days. You can find approved solid black hoodies/jackets and matching black pants in our team store, powered by First to the Finish.

Why are matching warm-ups so important?

While the competition singlet and shorts are the official team-issued uniform, the warm-ups are what we wear for the majority of the meet (especially in March/April) when the spring weather in Missouri can be unpredictable.

• Performance & Safety: Track meets involve a lot of downtime between events. Staying warm is critical for keeping muscles loose, preventing injuries, and ensuring athletes are ready for peak performance when their event is called.

• Team Identity: There is a powerful sense of pride and belonging that comes from looking like a team. It eliminates guesswork on what to wear and reinforces that we are all in this together.

If you have purchased a black jacket, hoodie and/or pants from either of our previous team stores (and they still fit), you do not need to purchase any of the warm-up options from FTTF. Athletes will be allowed to wear team warm-ups purchased from previous seasons.
