In order to be awarded a varsity letter in track and field, the student-athlete MUST remain in good academic and team standing AND achieve one or more of the following qualifications:
Score a minimum of twelve points in varsity-level competition. Individuals scoring points as participants on a relay team will receive credit for exactly half of the point value earned by that team.
Establish a new school record mark in any individual event or participate on a relay team that establishes a new school record mark.
Be one of the top (2) total varsity point-scorers for North Point in any individual event over the course of the season.
Actively participate with good attendance during the senior year of academic and athletic eligibility.
Compete at the Varsity level in the GAC Conference Championship meet.
Compete at the Varsity level in the MSHSAA District, Sectional or State Championship meet.
Reach the performance level listed below in a meet with 3 or more teams and finish the season in good standing.
