My name is pronounced like the German word neu, which means new. Coincidentally, I was born one day before the new year.
I grew up in the village שריגים (pronounced "Sarigim"), and the name of the village is the Hebrew word for lattices. This did not motivate my choice to research lattices.

In 2024, I went to a Conference on Diophantine Approximations in Sanya, Hainan Province, China. My great grandparents are originally from the Hainan island, so this was my first טיול שורשים (roots trip).
My second טיול שורשים was again in 2024, due to a Conference on Dynamics and Number Theory at Krakow, Poland.
When I'm not doing math, I can be found spending time with my family. As an AWM postdoc contact, I organized and participated in a family and academia panel, where I discussed my experience as a mother and a mathematician. Please feel free to reach out if you want to talk about parenting as an academic.
