We are excited to announce that Bookworm Gardens has chosen to partner with Sheboygan County 4-H for their 2026 Readers’ Roundup Garden! Readers’ Roundup is an opportunity to participate in the selection, design, and installation of a seasonal garden space at Bookworm Gardens. Every year, the Readers’ Roundup Garden is a completely new garden space representing a different book. Bookworm Gardens partners with a school or community organization to collaboratively create a transformed, unique space. Together, we pick the book, brainstorm garden design, and help plant the garden. This space is planted in May and runs the course of the open season (through October 31).
Help us pick our book by voting for your favorite! Your options are:
Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt by Kate Messner with art by Chistopher Silas Neal
City Beet by Tziporah Cohen and Illustrated by Udayana Lugo
Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm by Jerdine Nolen and Illustrated by Mark Buehner
