Sometimes it can be hard to engage youth at meetings. Spice things up a little bit with an engagement activity. These can be done at any time during your meeting. Take a peek at these ideas below and pick one that might work for your group. Or, give the kids the choices of these three titles and have them vote on which one they want to participate in.

Halloween will be over on the 31st. Take this opportunity to use after Halloween to purchase candy corn (or other item) on sale.
Have youth use an oven mitt to pick up candy corn to place into a container with in 1 minute.
Create teams. Have fun.
Crack a Smile
Crack a Smile
Youth are put into small groups. One person is "it". All others will try to make "it" smile by doing silly things.
Take turns within the group.
If the person "cracks a smile", they must answer a question that the group asks.
