-Required program problem: designing a future workspace that transforms physical environments into intelligent adaptive systems. leverage utilizes sensing, prediction, actuation, and communication technologies in order to enhance human health and productivity while simultaneously minimizing the impact on the natural environment.
Solution: Creating a Dynamic Tailored Workplace Design, which creates a workspace that has the user as a centered priority by making it possible to adapt and change the space based on the user’s needs.
The proposed solution is implemented and demonstrated through a basic office floor plan.
The problem of current workplaces
examining the problems in the current workplace that the Corona era created as a result of the need to work from a distance outside the office. As a result, these new work trends caused a new revolution in the concept of the office, creating inefficient office utilization & a lack of spaces that meet the demand and dynamic human needs, which causes:

Dynamic Tailored Workplace Design:
creating a workspace that has the user as a centered priority by making it possible to adapt and change the space based on the user’s needs.
through the use of a watch that holds every worker’s information, preferences, and health monitoring. in addition to using flexible adjustable components (such as dynamic partitions and modular furniture) and matching between people and the workspace that is tailored based on their preferences.
Benefits
components of the HBI-data flow
The system data flow of each individual consists of the worker's privacy preferences and health condition; his work kind, whether creative-focused or collaborative, in addition to his profession.
And the workplace characteristics, such as the experience of space, its environmental conditions, and its physical components.
components of the HBI|physical components materials
The design consists of three different component types based on whether it represents a natural-based workplace, a formal one, or a casual work environment. Each one is made from different material and the worker can freely choose which environment he wants to work in.
human-building interaction (HBI)
people interact with the built environment By using the smartwatch system.
So when you get to the office before entering, a screen shows the layout and identifies you and your preferences.
human-building interaction-HBI
The recommendation system loop gets the data flow of each individual, starts simulating suitable options, grades them based on his preferences, and recommends the best space option. Then it gets the worker’s feedback; if he accepts the recommendation, the worker proceeds to the tailored space; if not, it updates the worker's data and restimulates new options.
System Feedback
After the worker finishes his tailored experience, he gets a survey to help the system learn and adapt such as if he liked the space, if he was satisfied with the suggestion the system made, and so on.
components of the HBI
We chose a basic open-plan office arrangement to try and implement our design to it. It consists of static spaces and a dynamic adjustable space that is controlled by the smart building system.
human-building interaction
The adaptations of the Dynamic Tailored Workplace Design system are both reactive and proactive; the user can freely choose any kind of preferences The building adapts to it and the building can also The building suggests a possible layout which the users then can either accepts or refuses and then the building reacts to it.
Nudging Loop Diagram
We can see this in the nudging loop that after the building gets the data flow it can nudge the worker to a different space or the worker triggers the building to nudge the worker.
