Greetings!

I'm Nour Srouji, a recent Master’s graduate in Architecture and Urban Design from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion– Israel Institute of Technology (Class of 2025). During my studies, I gained practical experience at the faculty’s Laser Lab and participated in hands-on projects, including constructing structures for children in Tira. My work has been showcased at the faculty gallery, and I received academic excellence recognition in 2023. I am passionate about sustainable architecture and designing urban spaces that promote environmental responsibility and social well-being. I aim to continue growing in the field, combining creativity, sustainability, and social impact.

Design Process- I follow a hands-on design approach, using hand sketches and physical models to understand the site and develop interventions. I enjoy exploring ideas through models and sketches, starting with a conceptual, abstract model that gradually evolves into the building’s concept and defining characteristics.

In my third year My studio project for Thematic Studio-Htc Architecture, and Health took part in an exhibition for projects from different Thematic Studios in the semester.

I took part in the Special Project 3C course, in which we built the project that the students in Thematic Studio#1:1 designed during the semester.

During the two weeks that we built this project, I got to work with different materials and communicate with specialists in different fields in order to understand how we are going to physically build everything. Most importantly, was lots of teamwork, effort, and communication in order to see the design come to life.

I participated in the Architecture & Games course, where my teammates and I created an educational game called "GET OUT," simulating diverse mental illnesses. The aim was to offer users an immersive experience for a deeper understanding of these conditions. Drawing on our architectural expertise in manipulating space, color, and spatial organization, we employed VR and the Unity program to craft a significant and educational experience for users.
