Toolsbird ("we", "our", or "us") operates the NoteBird AI mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

* Authentication identifiers

* **Audio and Image Data**: To provide transcription and OCR services, we process audio recordings and images.
* **Audio**: We do not store your raw audio files on our servers after transcription is complete.
* **Images**: Images processed via OCR are handled temporarily to extract text and are not used for any other purpose.
## 2. Use of AI Services
NoteBird AI uses third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq, and Cerebras) to provide its core features.
* Data sent to these services is used solely for processing your specific request (transcription, action-item extraction, or text refinement).
* We ensure that our AI partners follow industry-standard security practices.
## 3. Data Storage and Sync
* **Google Drive AppData Sync**: Your notes, tasks, and media files are synchronized directly to your own personal Google Drive account using the secure, hidden Application Data Folder (`appDataFolder` scope). This space is private and accessible only by NoteBird AI; your data never leaves your control or passes through our servers.
* **Firebase**: We use Firebase (a Google service) for user authentication, Remote Config parameters, and secure device verification. To prevent subscription and trial abuse, we store a hashed fingerprint of your device in Cloud Firestore. Note contents are not stored in Firebase.
* **Local Storage**: Some data is stored locally on your device for offline access.
## 4. Advertising and Analytics
* **Google AdMob**: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can manage these permissions in your device's system settings.
* **Microsoft Clarity**: We use Microsoft Clarity to gather telemetry regarding user interactions (clicks, app usage flows, and navigation). This information is processed anonymously to help us optimize usability and performance. No note content or user input is processed or analyzed.
## 5. Subscriptions
Payments and subscriptions are handled through the **Google Play Store** or **Apple App Store**, with entitlement state managed via **RevenueCat**. We do not collect or store your credit card details or bank information directly.
## 6. Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, including encryption and secure authentication.
## 7. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
