Training Agents

Thank you for your interest in becoming a registered Training Agent for the Northwest Willamette Trade Apprenticeship Training Committee. We offer apprenticeship programs for two occupations: Limited Maintenance Electrician and Machinist. As a registered Training Agent with our committee, you are making a strong commitment to worker training, safety, and employee retention. Apprenticeship has proven long-term cost savings for employers and allows for a consistent pipeline of skilled workers. All prospective Training Agents should be sure to review the official Standards of Apprenticeship for the trade in which you are interested and Policies of the Committee.

If you are ready to register as a Training Agent with our committee, the next step is to fill out and submit the following documents (scroll below and click on the Google Doc links):

• Training Agent Registration Agreement

• Apprenticeship Fee Agreement

• Signed Committee Policies & Procedures (page 23)

Please note that all training agent and apprenticeship application paperwork must be submitted prior to the committee meeting at which you are asking to be considered. Once you have completed these three (3) documents, please scan and email them to apprenticeship@clackamas.edu.
