Apprentices

Thank you for your interest in becoming an apprentice. We offer apprenticeship programs for two occupations: Limited Maintenance Electrician and Machinist. As a registered apprentice with our committee, you are undertaking an exciting path that allows you to combine work experience with classroom training with the goal of earning a Journey Card.  All prospective apprentices should be sure to review the official Standards of Apprenticeship for the trade in which you are interested and Policies of the Committee.  To qualify for apprenticeship, applicants must:

• be currently employed and sponsored by an approved training agent registered with the Northwest Willamette TATC. 

• be age 18 years or older

• have High School diploma or completion of GED

If you are ready to apply, the next step is to fill out and submit the following documents:

•  Apprentice Registration Agreement

•  Invitation to Identify Disability 

•  Signed Committee Policies & Procedures (page 23)

• Unofficial high school transcripts or GED test scores
