JOIN THE PTO BOARD
Northwest PTO is looking to fill positions on the executive board for the 2026-2027 school year. "PTO" stands for "Parent Teacher Organization" and we welcome any parents or guardians of Northwest Elementary students to get involved! While anyone can volunteer, PTO Board members are volunteers who commit to serving for at least 1 school year (the treasurer position commits to 2 years). Board members are also responsible for co-chairing at least one event per school year.
NOTE: the Treasurer position is not currently open for the 2026/2027 school year. All other positions are available.
If you are interested or would like to nominate someone who you think would be a great candidate, please fill out a nomination form. A member of the Nominating Committee will contact all nominees. Elections will be held at the April 14, 2026 PTO meeting.
Please contact a current PTO board member or a nominating committee member with any questions you have about the offices and process.

This kindness themed dance will be open to all Northwest students and one special guest. (parent, family member or other trusted adult)
$15: student + ONE adult
$5: each additional student
Only current Northwest students may attend.

We're making every effort to ensure that as many students as possible are able to attend but also need to be sure we are well within the fire code and capacity restrictions in the gym. Should tickets sell out, we will open a waitlist. Thank you for your understanding.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and offered to 5th grade students and volunteers first. TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Students must be accompanied by ONE paying adult. We ask that only ONE adult guest per household attend to ensure space for as many students as possible. (no additional family members may attend including older or younger siblings who are not CURRENT Northwest students). ***
Looking for the perfect outfit? We have a FREE fashion swap closet open to any students coming to the dance! Styles and sizes are limited. Learn more >>
Got your heart set on being at the dance? We always need volunteers!
BONUS: volunteers will be given presale access one day before tickets are released to the rest of the school.
We're looking for help with everything from planning to setup to the dance itself and then cleanup. Thank you!
