Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee, How Great Thou Art
I was born and raised in rural Minnesota west of the Twin Cities, surrounded by miles and miles of corn fields, lakes, and woods. My earliest memories are filled with anything and everything outdoors, from fishing, to camping, to wildlife, to cows and horses. I was your typical horse girl - bookshelves lined with every horse book known to man, sketchbooks filled with horses, horse figurines, blankets, bedding, and clothes. I lived and breathed horses. I dreamed of one day becoming a cowgirl, even though the idea seemed far-fetched at the time. While I didn't grow up owning any myself, I had the opportunity to ride most of my teenage years until I graduated high school. From there, I took a small town girl hiatus and tried to fit in with the city folk. From pursuing college; overseas endeavors; and various jobs such as teaching, caregiver positions, car sales, and accounting; until I moved to North Dakota in January of 2020. Here I found my calling ranching and raising livestock, accomplishing the dream I once had as a child. I traded in my high heels and business suits for cowboy boots and Wrangler jeans. I once again live and breathe horses, and now cattle with the guidance of an excellent mentor and his family whom I work closely with. I founded NorthSky Ranch Morgans in 2021 with the purchase of my first broodmares. Between the horses and cattle, life stays chaotic, but I thank the Good Lord everyday that I am able to live out my dream!
