"Afterlife" Production Summer 2025
North Quabbin Nature and the Arts, is a 501(c)3 multi-disciplined lesson studio that focuses on visual arts, creative writing and performance art. Serving the greater North Quabbin area and beyond, our students thrive in an inclusive and supportive creative community.
Through community support and grants from the Mass Cultural Council, corporate sponsors, and guest speakers from organizations including Mount Grace Land Trust and Athol Bird and Nature Club, NQNA maintains affordable tuition for families.
At NQNA, students learn art theory, art history and work in mixed media. They learn about nature, write and publish graphic novels, dance and perform original works on stage. They are celebrated in art shows throughout the year, where they can share their artistry with the community.
Our students compose a rainbow of skill levels and interests, including neurotypical and neurodivergent development and learning challenges. Their ages span from 6 to teenage years, working in classes of mixed ages where they support, help and encourage each other.
Performance art allows students to bring their writing and art to life on stage and take on directing, acting and design roles. The blended themes of nature and art bring their inspiration to the stage and are open to the public to enjoy.
NQNA has made a commitment to continue to make the arts accessible and affordable to the community so that aspiring young artists can find a community to thrive in.
