What to expect from the NQNA Dance Program
The mission in NQNA Dance Classes is to foster a creative, and collaborative environment where students can thrive through movement and music. I am dedicated to weaving confidence-building and basic music theory into our daily practices, giving students the vocabulary and the self-assurance they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. I translate musicality into a grounding experience. By connecting rhythm to the natural world and group choreography, students learn to listen deeply to themselves and harmonize their own rhythms and movements with each others. I hope to help every student celebrate their unique individuality and develop their technique through fun lessons and exciting routines!Â
Meet Miss Amy
My name is Amy Boshco and I live in Winchendon, MA. Since 2003, I have taught students of all ages the art of movement through dance and how to connect with the world through music and rhythm. My career began at DanceTime dance studios where I led their competitive Tap Dance team through many competition seasons bringing home high-score trophies as well as special awards for dancers' enthusiasm, technique, and showmanship. After moving for my husband's 2-year work training, I operated The Stage Door Percussive Dance Studio in Orlando, Florida from 2008 to 2010. While enjoying the dance scene in Orlando, I performed with the Dance til Dawn Performance Troupe for 2 seasons. Following our move home to Massachusetts, I continued my career at the Dance studios Attitudes Dance and Fitness and IDance Boston as well as continuing The Stage Door Percussive Dance Studios in the form of private lessons, workshop offerings, and competitive performance coaching. Over the years, I have enjoyed teaching, choreographing, coaching, costume design, competition judging, mentoring, and workshop instruction. After a short break from the dance scene following my move from Eastern, MA to Winchendon, I am excited to be back in the classroom inspiring young dancers and guiding their movement journeys!
