How to Join DECA
Make sure to sign up for Beginning Marketing!
Beginning Marketing introduces students to the world of business and marketing and helps them to become college and career-ready. Students learn about business fundamentals, selling, target marketing, product and service marketing, pricing, promotion, and branding through a variety of projects, role plays, and simulations. Students also learn to apply marketing and selling skills when pursuing jobs and careers, giving them an advantage over many of their peers. Marketing students also participate in DECA, a globally-recognized organization that prepares future leaders in business, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship. In DECA, students have an opportunity to develop leadership skills and apply the skills they learn in class at DECA competitions. Marketing and DECA help students develop skills and confidence for success, no matter what their future career goals may be.
